Clean room microfabrication facility

In 2006 members of PERC were successful in an application to the University of Auckland Vice Chancellors development fund to establish a Clean Room Micro-Fabrication Facility. Dr Bryon Wright was employed in 2007 to establish the clean room and micro-fabrication facilities for projects within the University, which is set to open early in 2009. A wide range of deposition and lithographic equipment will be installed in the clean room, and used in projects such as integrating conducting polymers into microfluidic devices and for growing conducting polymer nanowires.
