Description: Quantum mechanics, and the calculation of molecular structure at the fundamental level. Statistical thermodynamics: the relationship between molecular structure and balk properties of matter. The quantum mechanics of magnetic resonance: theory and applications of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectorscopy in structural chemistry.
