Course details: CHEM330 Contemporary Organic Chemistry

Description: Topics in advanced organic chemistry, including the synthesis, reactions and uses of compounds containing phosphorus, sulphur, selenium and silicon, reactive intermediates, asymmetric synthesis, organometallic chemistry, pericyclic reactions and cyclisation reactions. Laboratories emphasise synthetic and structural methods.
