We invite you to participate in our 2018 School of Chemical Sciences Research Showcase.

The exciting, one-day event will feature postgraduate student talks, a poster session, competitions and a high-profile keynote lecture, or two.

This showcase provides an excellent opportunity for PhD students to present their research to their peers and the New Zealand chemistry community.

It will be followed by a reception to bring students, staff, industry, and government researchers together.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Oral presentations

In 2018, we are looking forward to a stunning line-up of presentation covering a diverse range of subjects from the eight selected second, third and fourth year PhD students who have been given the opportunity to share their PhD research orally.

This is an excellent opportunity for doctoral candidates to develop and refine presentation skills, and to share important research advances in their field.

All other abstracts that were submitted will be presented as posters.

Two-minute talks

First year PhD students who started their degree between 1 June 2017 and 1 March 2018 will be giving a two-minute talk on the aim of their research.

These will be presented in two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Posters

Many of our current MSc, BSc(Hons) and PGDipSci students are presenting posters, which demonstrate the full spectrum of research activities in our school.
